The famous “ss” trick — explained
Millions of people search for ssyoutube every month because of a simple shortcut that has been shared for years: while a video is open on youtube.com, you click into the address bar and type the letters “ss” directly in front of youtube.com — the address becomes www.ssyoutube.com/watch?v=… — and press Enter. Instead of the normal YouTube page, a download page for exactly that video opens.
